MEADOWPARK
SAINT
BERNARD'S

Hi, my name is Linda and I have been involved with animals of all sorts for over 38 years.  I ran a small petting zoo for  kindergarten children for 15 years with everything from horses, cows, sheep, goats, numerous types of chickens, pheasants, peacocks, pot bellied pigs, if it was out there we had it.  I raised and showed paint horses for 10 years and I also raised pug dogs for 7 years.

My true passion has always been the large breed dogs, and that comes from our first outside dog we purchased in 1973, she was a Saint Bernard cross named Charlie, and she was one of the most outstanding pets we every had.  I live on 155 acres of land that has been in the family since 1923,my father Dick resided on the farm until his passing in 2007 and my son Joshua is fourth generation to live on the property but is currently attending Devry University and living in Calgary.

Soon after purchasing my first Saint Bernard, Sadie,  I feel in love with the breed and I was hooked!  I now HAVE A TOTAL OF 23 beautiful  Saint Bernard's, both smooth coated and rough coated in my kennel.

I had done obedience classes with Charlie in 1974 and soon decided to update myself with conformation classes , obedience, level 1, rally o and on going seminars to keep me as current as possible for education and training purposes.

It was when I attended my first dog show just to watch and there was no Saint Bernard's showing I decided to take the plunge into showing and educating the public about this great breed.  I have not regretted it or looked back, I have met very wonderful people, made new friends and learned so much about the care, grooming, training and handling of the Saint Bernard from everyone and to them I say Thank you!   I am also very sure that I will continue to be learning for many more years too come.  But be reassured as in any type of sport there are individuals that you don't care to be part of the lives and learn how to walk away.

I have attended several seminars in regards to puppy whelping, the structure integrity of dogs, and will continue to further educate myself. MeadowPark is a fully registered kennel and I am currently a member of The Canadian Kennel Club,Prairie Director for the Saint Bernard Fanciers Of Canada, and the Saint Bernard Club Of America. I am also active with the Red Deer & District Kennel Club.

The Canadian Kennel Club

As it is very important to me that each of our my dogs are well socialized, trained and as healthy as possible, I have taken the time to ensure their temperament and structure are of great soundness before starting any breeding program.  I had my first litter of puppies in spring 2008.  My breeding program include's pedigree lines from some of the most outstanding bloodlines including  Lasquite's, Regalbear's, Heidisaints, New Sage, Stoan's, Revilo's, Cache Retreat, Sky Meadows and many others.  Please look into the pedigree of our dogs for further information.

I always enjoy discussion and educating people of this magnificent breed, I will be adding ongoing information, however if there is any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be pleased to help you in any way possible.
